voestalpine High Performance Metals Slovakia, s.r.o. in Martin covers the Slovak market. The company provides tool steel, heat treatment, coating and complex services. It currently serves approximately 500 customers from all over Slovakia.

Historic milestones:

Establishment of 100% subsidiary of BU AG in Slovakia.

2000

First deliveries from Uddeholms AB.

2001

Company was renamed as Böhler – Uddeholm SLOVAKIA, s.r.o.

2002

Moving into current premises.

2006

Start of heat treatment operations.

2007-2008

Voestalpine group acquisite 100% BÖHLER-UDDEHOLM Group and integrates it as the Special Steel Division.

2009-2010

Bussiness year was characterized by the big economic crisis and was the toughest and most difficult.

2012-2013

New investment into Heat Treatment Shop – new gas nitriding furnace NITREX.

2013-2014

HUB Kapfenberg into action.

2014-2015

New investment into Heat Treatment Shop – new vacuum furnace SECO/WARWICK.

2015-2016
